Is the bell mandatory?
No. It's removable . Some cats are stressed by the bells; remove it if necessary.

Does the necklace open by itself?
The breakaway loop opens in case of significant tension (safety). Under normal use, it remains closed.

Is it rainproof?
Yes, the AirTag holder is waterproof and easy to clean.
